Welcome to the Whitman Inn! Please read the following policies carefully:
Check-in & Check-out times
- CHECK-IN Time is from 3pm (please call ahead if you plan to arrive after 9pm)
- CHECK-OUT Time is 11am
Cancellation Policy
- 24 hours for one night, 48 hours for 2 nights or more
- 7 days notice required for specials and packages
- 30 days notice required for group bookings from 3 rooms
- Rooms that are not cancelled in time will be charged in full unless they can be sold.
- An administration fee of $ 15.00 is applied to all cancellations.
- Our 800-830-3855 number has no answering machine, please leave a message on 902-682-2226.
- The same cancellation policy applies if you stay here and want to check out earlier than expected.
- If there is some unfortunate event or circumstance which occurs such as an illness, accident or bad weather the cancellation policy must still be applied. please keep in mind that sometimes weeks prior to occupation, multitude of callers have been turned away. It is less likely to be able to rent the room on such short notice. It is important to remember that running The Whitman Inn is a fulltime occupation and our only source of income. We understand and regret when an unfortunate circumstance occurs. It is as much beyond our control as our guests.
Smoking Policy
The Whitman Inn is a complete smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building. Ashtrays are located outside on the porch for your convenience. A cleanup fee of $50 with be charged if people smoke in the rooms.
Swimming Pool
- It is forbidden to take any glass inside the Swimming Pool area. The liner is made of plastic and small fragments of glass can cause leaking spots.
- Please don't enter the pool area with shoes.
- Please shower before enter the swimming pool.
- Children under 14 years of age are not permitted in the pool without an adult present
- You use the pool on your own risk, there is no lifeguard on duty.
